Once again Mayor Rick Kriseman, in partnership with the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum’s board and staff were on hand to raise the Woodson Flag over City Hall when kicking off Black History Month in St. Petersburg.
For the fifth straight year, the Mayor and other elected officials, along with members of the community, gathered in honor of Black History Month and Dr. Carter G. Woodson, who is known as the Father of Black History.
